An easy exit method for Astral Travel

The swing method is a gentle and accessible technique for initiating out-of-body experiences (OBEs). It works by using rhythmic visualisation to shift your awareness out of the physical body and into your astral form.

This method is ideal for beginners or anyone who struggles with “pushing” themselves out of their body

  1. Relax the Physical Body Lie down in a comfortable position, ideally just before sleep or after waking from a nap—times when the body is naturally closer to the Theta brainwave state. Use breathwork to settle your nervous system. Progressive muscle relaxation or body scanning can help.

  2. Visualise a Gentle Swaying Motion Begin to imagine your energy body swaying gently back and forth inside your physical body. Picture it like a hammock or a pendulum swinging slowly. You’re not trying to leave the body yet—just creating the sensation of motion.

  3. Build Momentum Gradually increase the swing, visualising the movement becoming more pronounced with each pass. Feel your energetic body beginning to pull slightly away from your physical body on the outward swing and returning gently on the inward swing.

  4. Stay Calm if Vibrations Begin You may begin to feel tingling, buzzing, or the sense that your body is expanding or vibrating. This is normal and a sign you are entering the separation phase. Don’t panic—stay with the rhythm.

  5. Allow the Lift Once the momentum reaches a certain point, allow your astral body to lift gently out and forward. You may find yourself standing next to your body or floating above it. Move with intention, not fear.


    Tip: Don’t try to control the experience too much. Your job is to stay relaxed and open. The more trust you have in your process, the more easeful the exit becomes.
